Robert E. Holmes, Ph.D.

Dr. Robert Holmes earned his M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in psychology from North Texas State University in Denton, Texas. He completed his undergraduate work at Mississippi College and continued his formal education at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is licensed and certified by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists as a psychologist with specialty certification as a Health Service Provider. He has twenty-five years experience in psychotherapy and in public speaking.

He joined the Clinic staff in January 1987. From 1981 through 1986, he began and directed the Counseling Center for Park Cities Baptist Church. Prior to that he was Director of Family Services at the Alcohol Recovery Center in Fort Worth; a staff psychologist for the U. S. Bureau of Prisons; and an Associate School Psychologist for DISD.

Dr. Holmes is available for consultations and psychotherapy by appointment. He also conducts seminars, workshops and retreats. Call or write if you would like more information about any of these services.
