Jeannette Almon, MA, LPC
Jeannette Almon joined the Minirth Clinic in August 2005 as an outpatient
therapist. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Texas state approved
LPC supervisor. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Psychology and Bachelors
of Arts degree in English from the University of Texas in the Permian Basin.
Private practice alongside psychiatry has always been Jennette's preference in
the counseling field. She exhibits a strong Christian faith, a healthy sense of
humor and an interactive, empathetic therapeutic style. Her practice includes
individuals, couples and families with emphasis on adolescent and adult issues.
She has extensive experience working with families in addiction.
For the past fourteen years Jeanette has enjoyed teaching Psychology at the
college level. She is presently an adjunct instructor at Richland College.
During each month she can be heard on K-SKY 660 AM on the Minirth Hour:
Be Healthy and Happy, where she discusses different facets of anger, anger
management and boundaries, as well as other topics. Jeanette enjoys teaching
and speaking, whether it's a radio broadcast, a college class or a workshop.
