Les Carter, Ph.D., L.P.C.
Dr. Les Carter holds a B.A. degree from Baylor University and M.Ed, and Ph.D.,
degrees from North Texas State University. He is specially trained in the
treatment of emotional adjustments and relationship problems. He has been
with the Minirth Clinic since February, 1980.
In addition to his counseling practice, Dr. Carter has established a national
reputation as a spokesman in the field of Christian counseling. He frequently
appears on "The Minirth Clinic" radio program. He also conducts large
conferences and seminars focusing on the relationship between spirituality
and psychology.
Dr. Carter is a clinical member of the American Association for Marriage
and Family Therapists and a member of the American Psychological
Association.
Dr. Carter is the author of numerous books, including The Anger Workbook,
The Freedom From Depression Workbook, Reflecting The Character of Christ,
People Pleasers, and The Chosing to Forgive Workbook.
Dr. Carter and his family reside in north Dallas. He is a member of a local
Baptist church where he has served as an adult Bible study teacher and deacon.
